SPRAY PICKLING
TACAB Pickling spray are used for simultaneous pickling of welding joints and free surfaces for larger welded stainless steel construction. TACAB Pickling spray standard is applied by spraying with a membrane pump.
After pickling and ample rinsing with water (high pressure with a low chloride content, preferably below 50 ppm) the corrosive resistance is restored in the welded area.

TACAB Pickling Spray Standard
TACAB pickling spray are developed for pickling of stainless steel and acid resistant steels.
Higher alloyed grades (duplex) can be pickled with prolonged pickling times.

Pickling time at 20°C:
Stainless steel: 35-70 minutes
Acid-resisting steel : 45-120 minutes
Duplex: 90-180 minutes
TACAB Pickling Spray Super
Effective pickling spray developed for higher alloyes stainless steels, example lean duplex, duplex and super duplex but can be used on lower stainless steel grades with short pickling times. TACAB pickling spray super gives very good results where “ordinary” pickling products give discolored results on lower alloyed stainless steels.

Pickling time at 20°C:
Stainless steel: 30-50 minutes
Acid-resisting steel: 30-60 minutes
Duplex: 60-120 minutes
Super Duplex: 120-240 minutes
TACAB NRC 25
TACAB NRC 25 color additive is suitable to use together with all TACAB pickling spray products and
provides a sharp red-purple color which makes it easier to see where the product has been applied. TACAB NRC 25 also reduces the amount of toxic NOX gases developed
during the pickling process by at least 50% .
One packaging of NRC 25 is sufficient for 25 kg (one can) TACAB pickling spray.
